A short guide to how our digital downloads and fine art prints work — printing, sizing, shipping, and replacements.
Most artworks on Art Academi are available in two formats: an instant digital file (you download and print it yourself) and a made-to-order fine art print (we print and ship it to you). On each product page it’s clearly written which one you’re selecting.
Right after checkout, Shopify gives you a link to your high-resolution files (300 dpi). You can print them at home, at a local print shop, or upload to an online printer — it’s fast and affordable, especially for larger wall sizes.
You may print the file multiple times for personal use (home, studio, gifts), but resale or reproduction is not included.
We try to include the most popular frame sizes: 5x7, 8x10, 11x14, 12x16, 16x20, 18x24 and 24x36 inches. Some artworks also include A4–A1 metric equivalents.
If your wall needs a special ratio (very wide, panoramic, or square), send us a note — we can usually re-export it for you.
Our prints are giclée-printed on museum-grade matte or textured stock using archival, acid-free inks — so the painterly strokes, rain glow, and color transitions from Kevin’s original digital painting stay intact.
Prints are made to order and shipped from the nearest fulfillment location to you for safer delivery.
Because every print is made especially for you, we generally don’t accept returns. But if your order arrives damaged, misprinted, or has an issue, just email kevin@artacademi.com within 7 days and we will reprint it.
All files are for personal, home, and gift use. If you’re an interior designer, boutique, café, or you want to use the art in a commercial project, please contact us for a simple extended license — we do that often.
